The Selecao crashed out of the World Cup to the Netherlands on Friday after initially moving into the lead, while les Bleus are long gone from South Africa, with the recriminations after their embarrassing group stage exit still continuing. Juninho pins a lot of the blame in both cases at the doors of the coaches. “This team was flawed and the first person responsible was Dunga,” he told the Journal du Dimanche. “Dunga loves conflict; he feeds on it. His communication has been disastrous. He has brought a negative energy around the Selecao. He did the same as Domenech and gave an aura of ‘one against the world’.” ‘Juni’ was especially critical of the style employed by Dunga during his tenure in charge of the national side. “It’s regrettable that he denied our style,” the midfielder explained. “There was no design. Several players were out of position. In the World Cup, that is not forgiven. Dunga has made many mistakes.” Ronaldinho was omitted from the squad, which was a mistake according to the seven-time Ligue 1 winner. “Even at 70 per cent he is better than most everyone else,” Juninho explained. An overhaul of the national set-up has been advocated by the 35-year-old, who presently turns out for Al-Gharafa in Qatar. “We must change everything to prepare for the World Cup in 2014,” Juninho stated. “Change the coach, the technical committee, the medical service and the press officers.
