有些朋友們認為是要翻成 坦帕灣魟魚 (Tampa Bay Rays)
但是查了一下WIKI

From their inception up until November 2007, the organization's name was the
"Devil Rays." The "Devil Rays" name originated from the marine creature of a
similar name, manta ray.
They were nicknamed "the D-Rays," and "the Rays,"
shortened versions of the Devil Rays name. The new name "Rays" represents
the state of Florida's nickname, "The Sunshine State."
