Fiorentina are in their first season back in the top flight,
but Enzo Maresca is already aiming for a spot in European club football.

“If we play to our full potential then we can certainly
enter the UEFA Cup,” stated the Viola midfielder. “Even
if we didn’t, this would be a transition campaign and we’d
be prepared to finish in the top places next year.”

The fact that Juventus and Milan have seemingly already closed
the Scudetto down to a two-horse race has left all the other teams
battling for Champions’ League and UEFA Cup places.
事實上，現在只有祖文和AC米蘭才有資格爭奪義甲冠軍，其餘的球隊只能爭取
歐冠和足聯盃的資格。
“The Coppa Italia is also an important objective for us,”
noted Maresca ahead of their clash with Parma. “It is a
trophy and one we want to win, although I don’t know if
I’ll play on Saturday. The return of Christian Rigano from
injury has been crucial for us and we need everyone to pull together.”

Maresca made the surprise move to the Stadio Artemio Franchi
from Juventus, but hopes Fabrizio Miccoli and Giorgio Chiellini
will also make their time here permanent.

能永遠留在FIO。
“Florence is a beautiful city and what convinced me to
come here were the plans of President Diego Della Valle,
which are to build a long-lasting team based around young
players.”

There should be a few more additions to the squad in January,
as there are strong reports of a centre-forward coming in to
Sergio Buso’s team. Options include Udinese’s Dino Fava and
Valencia man Bernardo Corradi, who spent much of the season
so far on the bench.
在明年一月在現有陣容預計會有變化，根據可靠消息指出將會有一個中鋒
會加入，Udinese的Fava和Valencia的Corradi都是人選，而後者在本季大
坐在板凳上。
