Fiorentina will take on Messina without the aid of their
top scorer Fabrizio Miccoli this weekend due to a tendon injury.
在本週對戰麥西納，Miccoli因為腱傷無法出賽。
“I am not in terrible pain, but to have a tendon problem
in both ankles does begin to affect my performance,” explained
the Italian international.
"我不是受了很嚴重的傷，但我的雙膝肌腱出了問題，而且開始影響了我

“During training yesterday I understood that I couldn’t
continue like this and the medical staff concurred with me
that it was best to stop for a while. Between a Miccoli on
top form and one who is only 30 per cent fit, I choose the former.”

The Viola have revived their fortunes in recent weeks and
were hoping to push into the European places with a result
away to Messina, but Miccoli reassured supporters.

“I will work on a special training programme to be ready
for the game against Bologna. The tie in Messina will be
very important, even if the Sicilians are particularly
strong on their home turf.”

This gives Christian Rigano the chance to have only his
second Serie A start after coming off the bench to score
in his comeback from two months out with a thigh strain.
Either Javier Portillo or Enrico Fantini are likely to
partner the centre-forward.

“Rigano’s return changes everything for us,” concluded
Miccoli. “Now we can play with crosses into the box as well
as ball to feet, as his height and ability gives us more options
when going forward. He also helps hold the ball up so the team
can keep possession.”

There are also injury worries for Lazio, who will probably
