The recently retired Gabriel Batistuta is looking to get back into Italian
football – but not with Roma.
最近剛宣布退休的Batistuta正在尋找重回義大利足球的機會--但不是羅馬
The 36-year-old hung up his boots on Monday after a sparkling career and is
keen to start work as a club official.
在經歷絢麗的球員生涯後，這位36歲前鋒在週一宣布將高掛球鞋，現在他想要在俱樂
部裡繼續他的另一種足球生涯。
Yet his agent has revealed that is more likely to happen at Fiorentina rather
than with the capital club, with whom he won a Scudetto in 2001.
他經紀人指出比起他在2001年贏得義甲冠軍的的羅馬，他更有可能前往FIO。
"Gabriel wants to start a new career and there is already a verbal
understanding with Fiorentina," stated his representative Aloisio.
"他想展開新的生涯，也已經和FIO表達他的希望。"
"Now it is up to them to decide whether they want to maintain that promise.

"Roma? That will be impossible while Franco Sensi still owns the club. The
two men see life differently."

Batigol spent nine years with the Viola following his 1991 move to Serie A,
becoming a club legend in Tuscany.

He then fired the goals necessary to help the Giallorossi with only their
third League title before he was sent on loan to Inter, where he ended his
Italian career.
