Giorgio Chiellini, Fiorentina’s left-back, is from last night in retreat at
Coverciano with Marcello Lippi’s national team. “I’m happy about this
call-up,” he said before the afternoon training, “It’s a reward for the
work done.”

“Unfortunately,” stated Chiellini, “With Fiorentina we are passing through
a delicate and decisive phase of the season. After the National team match, I
will exclusively concentrate on Saturday’s match against Juventus. We shall

Christian Obodo Nigeria, Ujfalusi the Czech Republic and Hidetoshi Nakata
Japan.
Chiellini不是FIO球員惟一入選國家的球員。Pazzini和Donadel同時也入選U-21代表隊，
Jorgensen入選丹麥國家隊，Obodo、Ujfalusi和中田也分別入選國家隊。
