Fiorentina have insisted that boss Dino Zoff will remain in charge of the
side despite calls for his dismissal.
儘管要Zoff下台的聲浪不斷，但FIO仍為堅持Zoff仍會執教紫百合。
"Our faith in Dino Zoff remains intact," said patron Diego Della Valle after
last night’s 1-1 draw with Messina.
"我們依然對Zoff有信心。"
"Without that referee, who had already decided it had to end in a draw, we
would’ve won this match. We have to be wary of how the next official deals
with Fiorentina."
"因為裁判的原故，才使得本場比賽以平局結束，我們原本可以贏得比賽。我們現在必
須對於下場的裁判要小心謹慎。"
Sporting director Giovanni Galli was also quick to defend the 1982 World Cup
winner from criticism.
體育部主管Galli也為Zoff提出辯解。
"The side play with grit and determination," he said. "The only thing missing
was the right result.
"他展現出堅韌個性和決心。"
"惟一令人覺得失望的是結果。"
"There is no need to be having bad thoughts about Zoff. The side played well
and did what was asked of them."

However, Zoff remains the target of abuse for some fans as the club are still
in the relegation zone.
然而，因為FIO仍處於降級區，Zoff成了球迷的箭靶。
A host of banners on show at the Artemio Franchi illustrated that they hold
Zoff responsible for their current League position. One banned read: ‘Zoff,
just go’. Another stated: ‘Wake up Zoff!’
在主場的球迷的標幟中打出Zoff要為目前的排名負責。其一打出"Zoff走吧!!"另一則是
"Zoff醒醒吧。"
The former goalkeeper is the club’s third Coach this season after the
dismissals of Emiliano Mondonico and Sergio Buso.
他是繼Mondonico和Buso之後第三任教頭。
