Parma defender Daniele Bonera has admitted he would love to work under Cesare
Prandelli at Fiorentina next season.
The Italian international stopper is expected to leave the Stadio Friuli and
he’s keen to link up with the former Parma tactician again.
"Anybody would like to wear the Viola shirt," the versatile stopper told
Fiorentina.it. "The club are doing some good things and then they have
Prandelli of course.
"I’ve always expressed my desire to work with him again in the future after
our time together at the Tardini."
The Tuscan club have been linked with Bonera, and teammate Sebastien Frey,
for a while and talks have begun.
"I know that there are negotiations going on between the two clubs,"
continued the former Brescia player.
"As far as I know, a bid has been tabled but it is now up to Parma and
Fiorentina to decide.
"All I can say is that it would be great to work with Coach Prandelli again
in Florence."
The 24-year-old, now a regular at international level, has also been linked
with Inter, Juventus and Milan.

display in Saturday’s survival play-off against Bologna, the 25-year-old is
ready for a new challenge.

Fiorentina are an option after the arrival of former Parma boss Cesare
Prandelli on the Viola bench.

Reports in Italy on Monday suggest that a ?4m bid will be made, with his
teammate Daniele Bonera also a Florence target.

Frey is one of Europe’s top shot-stoppers even if he has never played for
France at senior level - something he is eager to put right.
