A rejuvenated Stefano Fiore is hopeful that his move to Fiorentina will
result in an Italy recall for the 2006 World Cup Finals.
回復身手Fiore希望加盟FIO之後，能在2006WC重返國家隊。
The midfielder, who has played in two European Championships, lost his place
in the Azzurri set-up following his move to Valencia last season.
他曾參與二次的歐洲國家盃，但自從加入Valencia後就失去了國家隊的位置。
But Fiore is now back in Italy and is already giving national boss Marcello
Lippi something to think about thanks to his fine form.
但他已經重回義甲，他想以最近的表現讓Lippi考慮是否讓他重回國家隊。
"I really hope to get back on the Italian national team train," the former
Udinese and Parma player stated. "This is my last chance to play at a World
Cup."

Fiore, who has already scored twice in the League so far this term, knows
that he faces some stiff competition for a call but believes he can do a job.

"There are a lot of good players in Italy, but getting them to play together
in the same side – like Brazil and Argentina do – is something that is
unthinkable for us," he added.
"在義大利有著許多優秀的球員，但要在一起踢球─如同巴西和阿根廷一樣─對我們而言
是難以想像的。"
"We are a much more practical national side, therefore we need to select a
formation and then pick players who are in form and suitable for that system."
"我們是個更實際的國家隊，因此當選擇定陣型後，就要選擇適合且狀態良好的球員。"
The 30-year-old is one of the country’s most versatile players, given that
he can play centrally and on either flank.
這位30歲中場是義大利中能勝任多個位置的球員之一，除了中路，還能出任兩翼的位置。
