Fiorentina Coach Cesare Prandelli believes that his side will be Scudetto
contenders within three years.

The Viola have enjoyed an impressive start to the campaign under the former
Parma boss and they currently sit in third place.

With Luca Toni banging in the goals and a revitalised Stefano Fiore pulling
the strings, many have tipped Fiorentina to qualify for the Champions League
this term.

However, while Prandelli believes that is a possibility, he has promised fans
of the Tuscan outfit that better things are to come.

“Fiorentina will be able to think about Lo Scudetto in three years time,”
stated the highly-rated tactician in the Gazzetta Dello Sport newspaper.

“As for the present – we are not scared of anyone. It is vital that we
arrive at the January transfer window in a high League position.

Fiorentina’s next match in Serie A is at newly-promoted Ascoli. They are
currently just five points behind League leaders Juventus.
