Luca Toni believes Milan are one of the best teams in the world right now and
thinks Fiorentina’s passionate crowd can restore some balance.

“The Rossoneri have won their last eight on the trot and will come here
looking for a ninth,” warned the current Capocannoniere.

“We will try to do our best against one of the strongest sides in the world.
They are technically gifted, but with our grit and the support of our fans, I
think we can hurt them. The fact that we’re so high up the table means we
can afford to go for broke.”

that form on to the international scene as well, scoring in Italy’s 3-1
friendly victory in Holland.

Toni was playing alongside Milan’s Alberto Gilardino in Amsterdam and the
comparisons between the two have dominated the headlines going into this
game, especially as Fiorentina have lost the only two ties this season in
which he has failed to score.
