[傳聞] Semioli considers Viola switch

Chievo sensation Franco Semioli is in negotiations for a move to Fiorentina,
confirmed the player.

“There is nothing concrete yet, but Fiorentina have made their interest
known and are talking to the Chievo directors,” announced the midfielder.
"現在還尚未有任何的定案，但FIO已經表示出他們的興趣，並且已經和Chievo高層
磋商中。"
“I think that my adventure with this club has come to a natural end after
three wonderful years and I feel it is time to wear the jersey of a major
side.”

Semioli began his career at Torino in 1997 and had spells in Serie B with
Salernitana, Ternana and Vicenza, but has really made an impact with the
Flying Donkeys since joining in 2003.

Although he is not a goal-scorer, the winger who’ll turn 26 next month has
proved pivotal in earning their UEFA Cup place with his marauding runs down
the right flank.

“I am excited by Fiorentina’s interest, but Palermo and Roma are also

Semioli has received two call-ups for the Italy squad under Marcello Lippi,
although he is yet to make an official appearance.

is named as a reserve for the 2006 World Cup squad.
