Stories in the peninsula on Thursday claim that the two clubs have already agreed a deal for the player who has netted 14 League goals so far this term. The Viola are looking for new forwards given that they are expected to cash in on want-away striker Luca Toni. Amoruso, whose sister is married to former Juventus teammate Alessandro Del Piero, joined the Amaranto in October 2005 from Messina. The 32-year-old has vast experience in the top flight after also enjoying spells at Sampdoria, Padova, Perugia, Napoli, Como and Modena. The Amoruso deal may not be the only piece of business which is completed by the two clubs before the 2007-08 campaign starts. Whispers circulating around the Artemo Franchi claim that Valeri Bojinov and Arturo Lupoli could also move south on loan.
