[U21] Azzurrini lose Potenza

Fiorentina defender Alessandro Potenza has been forced to withdraw from
Italy's Under-21 European Championship squad.
The captain was one of 23 players named by boss Pierluigi Casiraghi for the
Holland tournament which kicks off on Sunday.
However, Potenza has suffered a muscle strain which will rule him out of the
competition.
Casiraghi is allowed to replace the Viola talent and he's called in Marco
Motta who was already on the stand-by list.
Motta, 21, is highly rated in the peninsula and has just ended a decent
campaign with mid-table Udinese in Serie A.
Italy will kick off their Group B campaign against Serbia on Monday night in
Nijmegen at 19.45pm UK time.
