[傳聞] Fiorentina to 『lose' Ljungberg

Fiorentina are on the verge of seeing their move for Freddie Ljungberg
hijacked by Manchester City, according to the latest reports in Britain.
The Arsenal star seemed keen on joining the Viola, but might instead opt for
another Premiership outfit after his agent met City officials earlier this
week.
The Sun newspaper has reported that the northerners are close to finalising
the operation, having made a ￡6m offer for the midfielder.
New Coach Sven Goran Eriksson is a huge fan of Ljungberg, after naming him as
the best Swede still playing, and is eager to use part of the ￡50m transfer
kitty guaranteed by new owner Thaksin Shinawatra to sign him.
Fiorentina's ￡5.5m bid might therefore not be enough to secure Ljungberg's
services at the Stadio Franchi for 2007-08.
An alternative to the Scandinavian for the Tuscan boys could be Franco
Semioli after Chievo were relegated last season. However, Napoli are also
ready to make a bid for the international wideman.
