The 27-year-old is preparing for his third season at the Stadio Artemio Franchi and hopes that there are many still to come. 「I want to finish my career in Florence,」 the Frenchman told Radio Blu. 「 I'm married to the Gigliati cause and the shirt.」 The ex-Inter custodian, who is already under contract until 2011, appears to have been swept up by the atmosphere of positivity at the club after two seasons of overachievement. 「There's such a will to win and players come here due to the great Coach,」 he continued. 「It's too early to say that we're aiming for the Champions League, but it's always good to set your sights high, and that includes the UEFA Cup. 「Luca Toni may have gone, but Giampaolo Pazzini will show his true potential, and then we have Christian Vieri who I'm sure will make a huge contribution.」 While Vieri's arrival was initially met with cynicism from many Fiorentina fans, he has received a hero's welcome from supporters at pre-season training.
