The 23-year-old hitman has developed a fearsome reputation in Serie B after hitting 32 goals in 65 games since 2005 for the Papaveri and is seen as a great prospect for the future. It is believed that Cacia was in Florence on Monday to talk to Viola officials about a deal that would see him make the switch to the Stadio Artemio Franchi in January. Were it not for regular injury problems it is likely that the Calabrian marksman would already have found a top-flight side and he is currently recovering from a fibula complaint.
