[傳聞] Mavuba’s Florence link fades

French midfield ace Rio Mavuba is reportedly a target for Fiorentina, but his
agent denies that he will be leaving Villarreal.
After 127 games for Bordeaux between 2003 and 2007, Mavuba’s has failed to
maintain his momentum in La Liga and as made just one start for Villarreal.
The 23-year-old remains a great prospect for the future and it is believed
that Fiorentina see him as an option to strengthen their midfield.
“Fiorentina haven’t ever spoken to me about him,” Mavuba’s agent Vincenzo
Morabito insisted.
“The player will stay at Villarreal. He has five years left on his contract
and he was an important investment last summer.
“It’s true that he hasn’t had much space here because the Coach has a
winning side. But he is still young and there is lots of time for him.”
Mavuba already has six France caps but is of Angolan and Congolese descent
and was born at sea off the coast of Africa.
