Fiorentina Want Maniche
Fiorentina are planning to make a move for Atletico Madrid midfielder
Maniche, according to reports.
The Portuguese international has been on loan at Inter Milan since January,
and despite having performed well in some of his substitute appearances for
the Nerazzurri, the Italian club seem uninterested in securing his signature.
He is expected to return to Atletico Madrid at the end of the season, where
he will reportedly continue not featuring in coach Javier Aguirre's
first-team plans.
Fiorentina are understood to see Maniche as a quality asset to their
midfield, and could begin negotiations with the Spanish outfit by next week.
Maniche, who won the UEFA Cup and the Champions League while at Porto, has
played for four clubs since he left the Dragons in 2005, and hopes for a new
challenge to kick-start his career, having failed to be called up for Euro
2008.

Torino president admits interest for Fiorentina's Osvaldo
Torino president Urbano Cairo has admitted interest in Fiorentina striker
Daniel Osvaldo.
He said: "Osvaldo is a good player, we will talk about him later. I have a
good relationship with the people at Fiorentina."

Atletico Madrid ready to snap up Fiorentina's Ujfalusi
Atletico Madrid are expected to wrap up the signing of Fiorentina defender
Tomas Ujfalusi in the coming days.
The Czech Republic international confirmed yesterday that he would be leaving
Fiorentina - and Italy - when his contract expires next month.
Atletico have been in regular contact with Ujfalusi about a Bosman move to
Madrid and are expected to clinch his signing ahead of Sevilla.
