Osvaldo is one of Italy's most promising young players, and he is currently starring in the Toulon Tournament for the Italian Under-21 national team. This past season for Fiorentina, the striker has found the going a little more tougher but he still managed five goals in Serie A, including the strike, against Torino on the final day of the campaign, that took the Viola to the Champions League. According to the daily 'La Stampa', the Granata are on the verge of offering nine million euros for the services of Osvaldo. This expense could be in part decreased by the transfer of Comotto to Fiorentina, but Torino will have to be wary of Tottenham as the Viola director of sports, Pantaleo Corvino, confirmed that the English club are interested in signing Osvaldo and have the liquidity to do so.
