[轉會] Gilardino signs for Fiorentina

Alberto Gilardino has completed a transfer from Milan to Fiorentina after
agreeing a five-year deal with a reduced salary.
Since joining Milan from Parma in 2005, Gilardino's career has stalled and he
has slipped down the pecking order with the arrival of Alexandre Pato and the
resurgence of Pippo Inzaghi.
After weeks of negotiations, Gila is now headed for a fresh start at
Fiorentina as the swoop was announced on the club's website.
Gilardino has agreed to take a sizeable pay cut to put pen to paper on a deal
worth around ￡1.3m for five years plus bonuses in the event he scores more
than 20 goals.
The former Azzurri hitman is willing to earn half his San Siro wages, but is
reportedly excited by the prospect of linking up with former Parma and Verona
teammate Adrian Mutu.
The official presentation will take place tomorrow morning at 11.30 and he
will report back from holiday on July 7.
