[傳聞] Madrid Out Of Vargas Race

It seems that Fiorentina have been given the all-clear to sign full back Juan
Vargas from Catania, beating the competition of Real Madrid.
Fiorentina fans can breathe a sigh of relief: it seems that Real Madrid, the
only team who could have troubled them in the race for Catania's full back
Juan Vargas, seem to have given up on the Peruvian international.
According to Spanish newspaper "Sport", the player has already reached an
agreement with Fiorentina. Sporting director Pantaleo Corvino acted quickly
and managed to take advantage of Madrid's chase for Cristiano Ronaldo. The
cost of the operation that will take "El Loco" to Florence is said to be
around 12 million euros.
The player himself already confirmed earlier that the rumours linking him to
Real Madrid were false. So it seems that, after already acquiring Felipe Melo
from Almeria, Alberto Gilardino from Milan, and Stevan Jovetic from Partizan
Belgrado, the Viola are building a very ambitious squad ahead of the
Champions League preliminary rounds.
