The salary augmentation required by Adrian Mutu to Fiorentina is pratically a
request of leaving the club; the rumanian star has always declared that money
is not important for him but probbaly things have changed, expecially after
he seems to have lost the 12 million Euros lawsuit against Chelsea. In any
case, after the player's agent has asked Fiorentina to rise Mutu's salary up
to 4 million Euros per year, SportS Director Pantaleo Corvino has already
made an evaluation for the player: between 25 and 30 million Euros; probably
behind the player's attitude there is already a negotiation with another
club, probably from Germany, but a transfer to AC Milan, that could offer 15
millions plus Brocchi or Bonera, is also a possibility.
