Serie A side Fiorentina have confirmed the signing of Mounir El Hamdaoui from
Dutch club Ajax.
The striker was set to join the Viola in January, but the deal collapsed
because all the paperwork wasn’t completed before the transfer deadline.
The Viola have today announced that they have netted the Moroccan
international, who was born in Rotterdam, outright.
El Hamdaoui, 27, has also signed for Tottenham, Derby and AZ during his
career to date. He has won seven caps for his country.
