The authority that runs the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum has come to a six-year agreement with Overstock.com for the naming rights to the stadium. Effective immediately, the Coliseum will be known as Overstock.com Coliseum. "Overstock.com is thrilled to become a part of Oakland and Alameda County, and to be associated with the Raiders and the A's—two globally-recognized championship teams," said Overstock.com Chairman and CEO Patrick Byrne. The authority has been looking for a new corporate sponsor since software manufacturer MacAfee Inc. decided not to extend its naming rights deal for the stadium in 2008. That deal was worth $1.3 million a year. The Oakland Tribune reports that the Overstock.com deal could bring in about $1.2 million over the next six years.
