A's announce changes to staff, new hitting coach
Darren Bush served as the A’s bullpen coach the past two seasons, his first
major league coaching job. (USATSI)
The 2015 season will mark his 11th in the A’s organization, which includes
two seasons as a minor league hitting coaching and six seasons as a manager.
Bush compiled a 462-386 (.545) record as a manager after serving as hitting
coach at Single-A Stockton in 2005 and 2006.
Pitching coach Curt Young, third base coach Mike Gallego and first base coach
Tye Waller will return in their same capacities in 2015. They join new bench
coach Mike Aldrete to complete the A’s 2015 Major League coaching staff.
