我查了一下
Steve Garvey是LA Dodgers的鐵人。打過19個球季，13年在Dodger。
19年的總成績是2332場比賽中，打擊率0.294，272支全壘打與1308個RBI。
他以自我訓練嚴謹，打扮永遠一絲不苟，健身數十年如一日聞名。
也因為如此他退休後投身顧問業，成為自我成長與企業組織方面的著名演講者。
另外也成立媒體公司，旗下有顧問公司電視節目公司等等。
這裡Swisher應該是指斷棒不是因為他訓練不夠，而是他太壯的關係。
好像離王建民越來越遠~
