Q: Dementieva made a lot of unforced errors. Was your winning based on her
unforced errors?
A: I didn't see the statistics. Well I can't say much. We had a lot of
rallies and we both made fewer mistakes. I think it's a good match. I had no
idea how many unforced errors she made.
Q: Some of my friends said your performance today was like Martini Hingis'
game. It was quite smart, how do you think?
A: I heard about it that I played like her. She played good tennis and
was my idol when I was young. I guess we both don't play powerful tennis and
I can’t hit as strong as Serena and Venus.
Q: Can you say anything about the coming semifinal?
A: I don't know who I'm going to play against. Zvonerava and Bartoli
both play good. I have no idea who will win today. They are both top players.
I have to play 100% to beat both of them.
Q: you have good relation with Chinese players like Zheng Jie. did they
give you some suggestions about tourism?
A: Yes she is nice and we have good friendship. I enjoy to talk with her
and other Chinese players. I play all the time late till almost 9:00 pm. Then
I need to take massage till 11:00. everyday at similar time. So I don't have
many chances to go somewhere.
Q: All the top seeded players in China Open are out. Do you think you
will win the championship?
A: I've no idea. Last couple of weeks we had many tournaments out early.
This is just women's tennis you will never know. We just have to fight to
the last. It's just the tennis. I'm not surprised that top players are out.
We have bad days, like too tired or injury.
