The 27-year-old striker has struggled to settle in Spain since his ￡7m summer move from Empoli, fuelling increasing speculation that he might leave the giants as early as next month. “There are at least five Spanish clubs that are interested in Tavano's services,” said Carboni, currently in Italy for tonight's Champions League tie against Roma, to Sky Italia. The player's agent Stefano Guercini also confirmed that a loan or a co-ownership deal in January would probably mean a return to the peninsula.
