Baggio: Football Is Passion
The former Italian champion is looking forward to watch
Italy-France next Saturday, even though he admitted that
he would prefer to be part of such a game.
Roberto Baggio made his voice heard again as he gave an
interview to Rai 1, where he spoke about the upcoming
vital Euro 2008 qualifier game between Italy and France
which will be played this weekend.
"Who wouldn't like to play such a game?” he asked.
“I would like to be there, but I think it's normal
jealousy for those who have the possibility of going
on the pitch in such important games.”
Then the 'divine ponytail' invited all those who love
this sport to see football more like a passion.
"I would like people to talk about passion: football is passion,
but only a few talk about it," he explained.
"And I feel this passion in the blood, and each time that I watch a game
I feel the desire of participating in it," he concluded.
