如果我跟你說這一季的Walker狀況很好,那我一定是在騙你。Walker 的數據在下降,這跟打法沒關係,他每場要到的犯規、罰球命中率、 內外線整體命中率、籃板數都較上一季下滑,且有季初與季末的低潮 期;球隊打法沒改變,還出現這些狀況,對於一個老手而言是很不應 該的。這個暑假,他需要重新回去與訓練師Tim Grover一起努力工作, 就像是上一季的季前一樣。 Grover,喬丹大帝魔鬼身材的調練者,很清楚Walker的問題在哪裡。 就身體上需要加強的部分,他說: : ``We're going to get back his explosiveness, decrease his body fat : percentage and take care of his lower extremities,'' said Grover, : who took in the night session at the NBA's pre-draft camp last : night. ``He needs to work on his legs to keep them strong for the : full season.'' 需要加強爆發性,減少體脂率,加強下盤,鍛鍊腿部以使撐過一個球 季。倒過來說,這個球季他缺乏爆發力、過胖、下盤不夠穩、季末腿 軟。季後賽第一輪還能夠靠著大腦打球,到第二輪碰上Martin,就被 overwhelmed了。 這是身體改造的部分。另外還有生活作息與習慣部分: : ``He's got to make a commitment to change his (nutritional) habits : away from the court,'' Grover said. ``He can work as hard as he wants : inside the gym, but it's what he does when he's outside the gym that : determines how that will carry over to your game. Put it this way, : you're only in the gym for two hours a day. What you do those other : 22 hours makes the bigger difference. If it was the other way around : and we had him for 22 hours, he could pretty much do whatever he : wanted for those two hours.''
