Jose Mourinho, happy with both his team's motivation and performance
against Barcelona despite the defeat has given his squad a positive health
report ahead of the Premiership resumption versus Portsmouth.

“The team looks very fit,” the Chelsea manager states despite the
rigours of playing with ten men for over half of Wednesday's game. “The
team game-after-game, their answer is good. The exception was Middlesbrough
but that was not because of fitness, that was for other reasons.

changes to give some fresh blood. We will do it again on Saturday,” he
promises.“We don't have many injuries. Gallas will be ready soon and we

shape,"

said. "Then after West Brom we need six more wins. I think the team is
very focussed on that.”

that Portsmouth find their games against us tough challenges. Chelsea have
won the last seven meetings dating back to 1990. We last went down to
Portsmouth in 1960 in the League Cup. The most recent league defeat took
place back in 1957.
