Speculation is rife over where the Croatian playmaker will ply his trade next season after he admitted last month he is seeking a move away from White Hart Lane. Modric also shocked Spurs fans by naming London rivals Chelsea as his preferred destination. However, the Blues' ￡22million bid for the midfielder was snubbed by Tottenham and branded as 'farcical' by Spurs manager Harry Redknapp. Redknapp has refused to put a price tag on the 25-year-old, echoing chairman Levy's assertions that he is not for sale. However, the manager has admitted Spurs could struggle to keep him in North London if a wealthier club comes knocking. Chelsea are not the only team to have been linked with Modric, with both Manchester clubs reportedly targeting his services.
