COBBLERS CALL FOR WALKER

Reserve team goalkeeper Sam Walker will spend the coming season on loan at
Northampton Town.
預備隊門將渥克外租到北安普敦一整個賽季。
It is a second loan spell for the 19-year-old, 6ft 6in goalkeeper who was
between the posts throughout Chelsea's victorious 2010 FA Youth
Cup-winning campaign.
In March he went to League Two Barnet and helped The Bees preserve their
Football League status with a last-day 1-0 win against Port Vale and was
on the losing side just once in seven appearances, although he was sent
off once for two yellow cards midway through his stay.
Walker joined Chelsea three seasons ago from Millwall when still a
schoolboy, and after featuring increasingly in the youth team despite
plenty of competition, made his debut for the reserves in the 2009/10
season and last season made six appearances at that level.
Northampton, managed by former Bristol City and Yeovil boss Gary Johnson,
will compete in League Two this campaign.
