The defender popped up in the fourth minute of injury time to net from
close range for Huddersfield at Sheffield United, sparking pandemonium in
the away end behind the goal. Just a couple of minutes earlier the Blades
had equalised to make it 1-1, but Colwill's effort gave the Terriers all
three points in the Yorkshire derby. He couldn't contain his delight
afterwards!

Colwill also played the full 90 last midweek as Huddersfield beat Preston
1-0. They are up to 16th in the formative Championship table.
Staying in the English second tier, it's been a good few days for
Coventry. They won 1-0 at Blackpool, with Jake Clarke-Salter and Ian
Maatsen involved, before turning over Reading 2-1 on Saturday. Only
Maatsen played that one and he stood out at left wing-back for Mark Robins
and Adi Viveash's side.
In the Premier League, Conor Gallagher was Crystal Palace's star man on
his Eagles debut in a goalless draw with Brentford at Selhurst Park. A
dominant, energetic force in the middle of the park, Gallagher also came
closest to breaking the deadlock when he crashed a shot against the
woodwork in the first half.

Norwich's tricky start to the season continued with a 5-0 loss at Man City
in which Billy Gilmour played the full game.
There were debuts on the continent for Michy Batshauyi, who came on for
the final 20 minutes of Besiktas's goalless draw at Gaziantep, and Emerson
Palmieri, who featured for the entirety of Lyon's 3-3 draw at home to
Clermont in which the visitors netted twice late on to snatch a point.

Heading from Ligue Un to League One, Jamie Cumming helped Gillingham to a
pair of positive results. It was his long kick that eventually led to the
10-man Gills' last-gasp leveller at AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday, and the Kent
club then picked up their maiden win of the season, a 2-1 success at home
to Morecambe.
Henry Lawrence made his first start for AFC Wimbledon in that clash with
Gillingham, and he got another 90 minutes under his belt as they were
narrowly beaten 1-0 at Sunderland.
