Re: [新聞]轉會謠言持續發燒!(Makaay篇)

MAKAAY WANTS TO PLAY FOR BAYERN
He can say it louder, but no clearer. European Golden Boot Roy Makaay stated
that he "can't miss this chance to play for Bayern". The Dutch striker is still
enjoying holidays in the Netherlands with his family, after returning from
Aruba. He deliberately wanted to remain absent from the negotiations between
Depor and Bayern. But his representative, Rob Jansen, keeps him informed.
Makaay insists he wants to leave Depor "to grow professionally", because
"after Real Madrid, Bayern Munich is the biggest club in Europe". He added:
"I've said on many occasions that I don’t want to stay at Deportivo. Now, if I
can play at one of the biggest clubs in the world, I don't want to miss that
chance". Still, he also admits that his true dream is to play for Manchester
United at some stage.
Some see in these words a hint of disrespect for his current club, Deportivo,
where he actually became a star. But Makaay states: "It was very easy for them
to improve my contract at Depor", as if all this issue began with the lack of
synchrony between the striker and president Lendoiro some weeks ago. As Makaay
goes on: "When Depor reaches an agreement with Bayern there'll be no problem
about my salary, because it's not difficult to improve what I'm earning here".
On the other hand, Depor wants to get a good deal for Makaay. The club knows
that Makaay's value is very high at the moment, as he is both the European
Golden Boot and Pichichi in the Spanish league. Deportivo thinks that his value
is far above the 15 million Euro initially offered by Bayern or the 12 million
from Valencia. Bayern is now offering 18 million plus a player from the
Bavarian squad.
As Bayen's manager Uli Hoeness puts it: "They take or they leave it. It's our
last offer". However, Lendoiro stated that he wants more than 20 million; until
last Wednesday he was even demanding some 25 million Euro. Because of this, the
Bavarian club now begin to show some degree of impatience. "Maybe he'll come
maybe he won't", as it is stated on the Bayern's website. Coach Ottmar Hitzfeld
declared: "We've made an offer for the player and now we're waiting to see if
Deportivo accepts".
Vice-president Rumenigge admitted that his club did everything possible in
order to get Makaay, but "still, everything is on the air". Hoeness
acknowledged that "Lendoiro's attitude is leaving little room for hope, in fact
, it begins to become desperate". To this regard, Depor's president - well
known for being an excellent negotiator - assured that Depor will make an
official announcement in two days. Due to this strategy, Makaay's
representative, Rob Jansen, confessed that in the Bavarian club "they began to
get more and more agitated".
Lendoiro assured that he wants to sell one of the three current strikers
(Makaay, Luque or Tristan), and he wants to do it to someone who is not a
direct rival. Therefore, the Galicians and the Germans have to get an agreement
. Makaay believes that all problems will be eventually solved: "I'm sure that
they'll reach a satisfactory deal. And I'm praised that Bayern want my
services".
