國外有看到這場比賽朋友的看法 I watched this match on TV. Well done Dani. Despite the straight sets defeat I was very impressed with her in the second set - she kept her composure and determination until the end. The first set wasn't the greatest - not entirely Dani's fault - Lindsay was playing some impeccable tennis. Her groundstrokes were solid and she was serving well, never letting Daniela get the upper hand. Dani's serve wasn't working too well - Davenport was punishing the second serve - and I was praying that Dani would get more first serves in during the second set. Well, my prayers were answered. Daniela served extremely well and first serve percentage was I think in the low seventies. The result - she actually served more aces than Lindsay in the whole match. Lindsay's serve, meanwhile, went downhill and the double faults flowed. When Dani was 3-0 up Lindsay managed to peg her back to draw level and then go ahead. The Daniela of a year or two ago might have given up but today she stayed focused and managed to go ahead and get those two set points. Who knows what would have happened if she'd managed to take them SO close! Davenport managed to get her serve going a bit during the tiebreak and served well when it mattered. A couple of Daniela's second serve returns went long and that was that.
