Josh Smith noticed it on the Hawks' Western Conference road trip. Marvin
Williams and Josh Childress did, too.
They saw signs of fatigue from their captain and All-Star, Joe Johnson. They
realized that night after night of playing 40-plus minutes, carrying the
offensive load while being guarded by two or three people, guarding the other
team's best player, running off screens and having to basically create for
everyone else has taken a toll on a player who seemed indestructible for the
past 2-1/2 seasons.
JJ 的回應：
"When those guys play like this, we're a tough team to beat," Johnson said.
"They [the Nets] seemed like they would rather give up a dunk than let me
dribble the ball, so if teams are going to play like that, we'll be fine."
