Giovinco is seen as one of Italy's most exciting rising stars and a foundation on which Juve can build for their future. Contract negotiations have been painstakingly slow and there had been suggestions that Giovinco could be lured away by another European giant like Arsenal. But the 21-year-old has put pen to paper on a new deal that will tie him to the Old Lady until 2013. Juve sporting director Alessio Secco and Giovinco came to the agreement in a meeting with the Atomic Ant's agents Claudio Pasqualin and Andrea D'Amico.
