Buffon was answering readers' questions for Gazzetta.it and he covered a variety of issues starting with his current fitness problems. “I've had a tear in my adductor and it's partly my own fault,”he explained. These considerations wouldn't have come up had Juventus stayed in Serie A and there were other things that weren't going right. 「良心上我覺得說不過去，我需要平靜好表現出最佳狀態，要是尤文留在義甲就不會跑出這些考量，而且那時還有其他事情不對勁。」 “However, if a team offered ￡40m for me now, I would be the first to say they should sell me. 「可是如果有球隊現在出價４０ｍ英鎊，我會第一個贊成他們把我賣掉。」 “I love Juve and with that sum of money they could galvanise the squad.” 「我愛尤文，那樣的金額可以讓他們打造一套陣容。」 While the Old Lady have put together an impressive run in Serie A, Buffon believes Europe could be the ideal stage for a Bianconeri triumph. 尤文近期在義甲打得不錯，Buffon 則認為歐洲才是理想的戰場。 “I think our best chance is in the Champions League,” he claimed. 「我認為我們最大的機會是歐冠。」 “We have a mixture of solidarity and experience with the quality needed to make the difference. We showed that in the game against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. 「我們是團結與經驗的混合體，具備形成差別的水平，這點在伯納烏對戰皇馬時就展現出來了。」 “As for the Scudetto, Inter and Milan have more quality and the Rossoneri don't have the Champions League, which can take points away from you in the spring.” 「至於聯賽冠軍，雙米水準更高而且米蘭不用打歐冠，那是件在春天時會讓你丟掉積分的事。」 Buffon concluded by maintaining that Italy isn't facing a goalkeeping crisis and he suggested some custodians who could follow in his footsteps.
