Adios, La Negra. 希望Paola能有快樂美滿的生活 The Argentinian Paola Suarez was eliminated on second round of Mixed Doubles in the US Open and finished her career as a professional New York - The Argentinian Paola Suarez lost her match of Mixed Doubles which played with Kevin Ullyett on second round of the US Open against Liezel Huber (North America) and Jamie Murray (United Kingdom) 7-5 6-4 and finished her career of one of the best doubles players from all the times. The South American tennis player formed a pair of legend with the Spanish Virginia Ruano Pascual. Both dominated great part of the circuit in this modality. They won 8 Grand Slam between the forty-four matches accumulated in her career. Nevertheless, the physical problems began to condition her sport situation. An injury in the hip prevented that the Argentinian could complete the last year like a normal season. She only disputed nine tournaments. An injury didn't allow her to come back. For that reason she decided to operate and, later, her retirement. "The hip killed me definitely. My operation disturbed me. You know, that thing of want to come back but aren't able to. That was what it could and what impelled my retirement”, said the South American woman, that recognized to be prepared for a life without tennis. "Yes. I believe that I am prepared and mature for a life outside tennis. I begin a new life. I will travel by pleasure and by work and be able to form a family. But also to enjoy what I have done. This year already was a slow retirement and I could realize of what I obtained", Suarez expressed. The racket of Munro (Buenos Aires, Argentina), who obtain the number 9in singles and the semifinal of Roland Garros, recognized that with 31 years she completed a cycle. The glory moments stay in the past, a shining career, with four successes in the individual plane but specially like a player of doubles. "There are many emotions in my race. But mainly to gain the first tournament with Virginia Ruano Pascual. That made us to see where we could arrive and was the origin of everything. In addition, it is the Olympic medal, my first Grand Slam, today….", she remembered. Suarez always has a place privileged for the tourmanet of Roland Garros. "I will never forget it. It marked to me in everything. It is unforgettable. I gained it in doubles and I made semifinal in singles and later she manages to enter between the ten first. It was fantastic." Wimbledon is in the opposite side. "I needed that tournament. The only one that I did not win. But it would be unfair if I'm not happy by all the other that I obtained." In her last tournament she coulnd't even shine in doubles. Her objective was dispute the tournament of Madrid, with the four best couples of the world. But it wasn't made. In New York she started the dream in company of the Italian Roberta Vinci, but they lost in the first round against the Spanish Marta Marrero and the Tunisian Selima Sfar. "One never imagines a race like this. Neither of small to greater.
