Notes: Good health report for Liriano MINNEAPOLIS -- The Twins got the news they were hoping to hear on Sunday as Francisco Liriano underwent a second medical examination on his shoulder, with the results keeping open the possibility that he could return to the mound this season. 新的健康檢查出爐，小李可能可以趕得及本季復出。 Liriano's shoulder was tested in a five-minute physical examination by Twins physician Dr. Dan Buss to see if he had regained the motion and strength that he had lacked during his first exam on Aug. 11. The pitcher no longer has any pain in his left elbow. 小李的肩膀(不是手肘痛嗎?)經過隊醫檢查後，手肘(又變成手肘了)已經感覺不到任何疼痛了。 "He looks as good as he could possibly look, given where he started out," Buss said. With full motion and full strength back in the shoulder, Liriano was cleared to start throwing off a flat surface and he will begin doing that on Tuesday in Baltimore. You can't look at averages of other pitchers, because it's such a wide spectrum." Despite uncertainty of when Liriano will be able to make his return, the medical staff, the training staff and the Twins coaches couldn't be more impressed by the way that he has acted under the circumstances. Much of his quick progress already has been due to the fact that Liriano has made an effort to do everything in his power to follow the strength program.
