手邊有的baseball digest(2004NOV)剛好有寫到Johan Santana的故事. 裡面提到原本Santana是想當外野手的. 不過太空人隊的球探認為他的速度太慢. 不足以勝任外野手 所以才改當投手. 2002年Santana在Edmonton時 當時的投手教練是Bobby Cue
