William Ladson of MLB.com reports that Wilson Ramos' right knee injury is
serious, though he's not sure if he tore his ACL or MCL.
There's a big difference between the two, as a torn ACL would surely end
Ramos' season. Ramos' friend and public relations agent Marfa Mata is
reporting that the catcher will need surgery, but no other specifics were
offered. It's not surprising that the injury is significant, as Ramos looked
to be in a ton of pain Saturday. We'll update his condition when more is
known. Jesus Flores will be the primary backstop while Ramos is out. May 13 -
