Williams, who missed the first 12 games after having right knee surgery during the offseason, already had a MRI scheduled for his foot when the Heat returns to Miami. The abdominal strain was diagnosed during Saturday's game at Chicago. Williams' status might cloud Miami's situation at point guard, a position the Heat declined to address with a veteran during the offseason. Backup G Gary Payton has been battling back problems all season. Behind him is rookie Chris Quinn, who is limited but has played fairly efficiently in limited action.
