Drew Gooden to consult specialist next week
Drew Gooden sat out again on Saturday with a left groin strain. He’s
expected to consult with a sports hernia specialist next week in Chicago.
Uh oh. He has missed the past eight games with an abdominal strain/groin
pull, but a sports hernia would probably mean an even longer period of
inactivity. It's seems doubtful that he'll play before the All-Star break, so
bench him until further notice.
