Re: 女籃八強展望
"Overrate" is a word that I resent.
It never gives justice to those who actually earn it.
If you need the result of the game to determine who
is talented or who has the skills, don't bother.
Remember, there are players who are never thought to
have a chance in the NBA, a place where sucess is mostly
determined by physical ability. There were some people who
thought our player Villanueva was not going to be drafted
early last year. When he did get drafted early, many said
that was a mistake and he was going to be eaten up and
spilled out. Well, that did not happen, either.
You are the one who considers physical strengh or personal
skills to be everything. In case you forgot what you wrote, you said
"噓 hyperion:體能跟個人技巧不是籃球的全部? 一整個鬼扯。"
I never say that is not a factor;
I said that is not "the" factor. For teams that are within
a reasonable difference on so call talents or skills,
all other intangible things that I mentioned
determine which team wins.
Last time I checked the national record for 100 meter sprint,
American women's record is quicker to our men's record.
I am not saying this to slight our male athletes. I am using this
to say why physical strengths and personal skills between
our men's teams and American's WNBA players might not be as
different as you might assume.
I used our men's team as an example to not hurt other fans'
feelings. Despite our inability to get to the final four, we were
still an elite 8 team, and that to me is an accomplilshment
itself. In case you forgot, our men's team only has 4 losses.
Not many teams in the country can boast that.
