Champion's Court: Henin-Hardenne Trains At Ferrero's Facility

In what sounds like a Roland Garros mixed doubles dream team, Justine
Henin-Hardenne has joined forces with Juan Carlos Ferrero. The pair aren't
playing together, but have found themselves sharing common ground — on the
courts of Ferrero's training facility in Alicante, Spain.
In an effort to escape the chilly Belgian climate, Henin-Hardenne headed to
Spain last week and was greeted by steady streams of rain forcing her to
practice indoors. Henin-Hardenne has found the weather a bit more cooperative
this week, providing Ferrero's academy with both the 2003 Roland Garros men's
and women's champions.
"The training goes well, Justine makes good progress," Henin-Hardenne's coach
Carlos Rodriguez told her official web site henin-hardenne.be. "She’s tired
because it’s tough, but it’s more like a healthy tiredness."
In about a week, Henin-Hardenne will head back to Belgium to compete in the
Women's Tennis Trophy event in Belgium, December 18-19th. Following that
event, Henin-Hardenne will travel to Tampa, Florida where she has trained
annually under the guidance of fitness guru Pat Etcheberry.
