Ronald de Boer retires from Holland team

Ronald de Boer has surprisingly announced that he will not be ending
his international career after Euro 2004 but feels that it now the
time to retire from international football.
The Rangers forward, who looks set to end his career in Qatar, still
believes that he can be a valuable asset for Holland but feels it is
now time to quit the international scene after being overlooked for
selection in recent times by Dutch boss Dick Advocaat. De Boer has
been plagued by injuries this season and believes that this is the
reason why he has not been able to impress Advocaat this season and
with the coach having seemingly made his selections for Portugal,
De Boer believes that it is now time to hang up his 'Oranje' boots.
