Che move interests Kromkamp

AZ Alkmaar defender Jan Kromkamp has admitted to being flattered
at being linked with a move to Spanish champions Valencia.
Kromkamp has been a key figure in AZ's surprise title challenge
this term and his composed displays have not gone unnoticed.
It is being claimed that Valencia will make a move in the summer
and Kromkamp has admitted it could be tough to turn down a club
the size of the Che.
"From what I understand, they have contacted the club about me,"
the right back told Langs de Lijn.
"It is something that interests me, but it is up to the two clubs
to talk."
Kromkamp feels his style of play would be better suited to life
in England or Germany, but admits he would relish the prospect
of playing in La Liga.

"I believe my game is better suited to the English or German
competition, but if a club like Valencia come in it is tough
to say no."
Kromkamp is under contract to AZ until the summer of 2008 and
they are sure to demand the best possible fee for their
talented defender if Valencia firm up their interest.
